Before ranking, one must establish the metrics. An S-Tier build excels in all phases of the game: it clears crowds quickly, defeats bosses reliably, possesses strong inherent defenses (high resistances, damage absorption, or mobility), and is not overly gear-dependent. A-Tier builds are powerful but may have one notable weakness, such as a slow start or a vulnerability to specific damage types. B-Tier builds are viable and fun for the Normal and Epic difficulties but struggle noticeably on Legendary.
