The 2020 series is a reboot/continuation , not a direct sequel to the 2013 Chris Evans movie or the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige .

While the original English audio is available, the Hindi dub allows families and casual viewers to enjoy the complex plot without reading subtitles. It has made the show popular in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities where English penetration is lower.

The story follows (Daveed Diggs), a former homicide detective from the Tail, who is brought to the front of the train to solve a murder. This investigation becomes the spark that ignites a revolution.

Set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, the series takes place entirely on a massive, perpetually moving train consisting of 1,001 cars. The train is a rigid microcosm of society: The First Class: The wealthy elite who live in luxury. The Second and Third Classes: The laborers and technicians who keep the engine running.
