A mild-mannered bank clerk, Stanley Ipkiss, discovers a mysterious wooden mask that transforms him into a wildly confident, cartoonishly elastic trickster with superhuman abilities and a green-faced persona known as “The Mask.” Using his new powers, he pursues romantic interest Tina, battles local criminals and mobsters, and must confront the moral consequences of power and identity.
