This is the community-approved solution. Talented modders have extracted the original, pre-launcher executables and repackaged them into a simple drag-and-drop fix. You are not removing DRM; you are replacing the bloated executable with the one that shipped on the original DVD.
Steam: Right-click Max Payne 3 > Manage > Browse local files. play max payne 3 without rockstar launcher fixed
