In conclusion, the perceived conflict between body positivity and a wellness lifestyle is a construct of a society obsessed with aesthetics. When we look deeper, we see that they are mutually reinforcing. Body positivity provides the "why"—the self-respect and motivation to care for oneself—while the wellness lifestyle provides the "how"—the actionable habits that sustain physical and mental health. To truly be well, one must accept the body they live in, and to truly accept the body, one must treat it with the care it deserves.
