The preferred choice for switching labs in GNS3, as it supports Layer 2 features that older router images often lack. Cisco IOS images for Dynamips - GNS3 Documentation Make sure to obtain the IOS image from an authorized source
image file. GNS3 will ask if you want to decompress the image; choose for better performance. Configure Hardware
