"My New Life Revamp v0.97" is a massive beast of a game. It represents hundreds of hours of development time. It is not a game for someone looking for a quick, linear experience. It is for the player who enjoys sandbox management, stat building, and a narrative that isn't afraid to venture into darker or more controversial territory.
The graphics are still rudimentary (intentionally pixelated, the developer says, to "focus the mind on narrative"). The soundtrack consists of ambient city noise and a single melancholic violin track. The learning curve is a vertical cliff.
