A veteran player, Taro, replayed a scene he’d known by heart and noticed one line—previously a throwaway—now paused in a way that emphasized a lost father’s name. The line matched the name on a memorial plaque Taro had been trying to track down for years. He followed the clue to a quiet temple where an elderly man was clearing weeds. The man turned out to be the brother of someone Taro’s father had fought with decades ago.
