Facebook had relied on its community to translate the site, using a crowdsourcing model where users voted on the best translations for terms like "News Feed" ( Noticias ) and "Like" ( Me gusta ). This strategy ensured the language felt natural to native speakers rather than stiff, machine-translated text.
